Benchmark Energy has acquired exclusive rights to a proprietary radial drilling technology in several global jurisdictions, giving Benchmark a decided advantage when submitting bids and entering negotiations for marginally producing wells. The application of radial drilling technology can enhance production rates of oil and gas wells/fields and increase recoverable reserves. It outperforms conventional stimulation methods at a lower cost, in reduced application time and with higher potential production results.
Radial drilling is a fast and cost effective method to rehabilitate and optimize wells and has been used successfully in more than 230 wells worldwide. With an average increase in well production of more than 150% it is and has been used in countries including Canada, USA, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Russia and Kazakhstan. Radial�s ability to control the drilling direction and penetration depth and the ability to drill up to 100 meters from the well bore in multiple directions at the same depth ensure Benchmark and Radial are a step ahead of competing directional drilling technologies.
